30-Hour Core Prevention Curriculum
This course is intended to meet
the New York State OASAS requirements for Training in Prevention
of Compulsive Gambling
30-Hour Core Prevention Curriculum. This training is
appropriate for all individuals throughout the State of New
York, who are interested in pursuing a career in, or gaining
information on, preventing Compulsive Gambling. Participants
will receive a comprehensive education on the history of
gambling, prevalence rates, gambling venues, public policy and
social impacts, special populations, factors which affect
gambling related behavior, evidence-based prevention approaches,
and much more.
