This is a model prevention program designed
by the
Mendez Foundation to reduce risk and build protective
factors related to drug use and violence in high school
students. In addition to factual drug information, the program focuses on goal setting, managing
emotions, decision-making, communication, and respect for self and
others. Implementation
of the program can be adjusted to fit the needs of the school
district.
