This program teaches high
school leaders to serve as mediators in order to help resolve
basic conflicts that arise during the school day. Along with
guidance counselors or other school personnel, peer leaders are
trained to assist their fellow students in the mediation
process. Mediators are trained to understand the concept and
importance of their role as a mediator as well as effective
communication techniques.
