For Parents
and Older Teens
Moving from high school to the
next step can be daunting for everyone. Parents want to provide
the appropriate guidance to help with this change, but it's not
always easy to do.
Goal: To
foster open communication about difficult or overlooked topics.
Topics: The course
is organized into three learning sessions:
Module 1: Making Cents
of your Money
Module 2: Entertaining
Risk vs. Excitement
Module 3: Just for the
Health of It
Dates: Availability begins March 22, 2010. Work at your own
pace.

Each session includes:
♦ Access to a strictly monitored on-line
discussion with other parents and professionals
♦ Interactive activities to help
initiate conversations between parents and youth
♦ Links to on-line resources and materials
Families should plan to spend no more than an hour on each
module and some time each week reviewing the worksheets and
activities with their teen. At this pace, the entire course
